Policies

Cancellation for Rooms:

48 hours prior to arrival for bookings of 2 or less nights
1 weeks for bookings of 3-6 days
3 weeks for bookings of 7 or more days

If these deadlines are not met and the client does not have a record of a cancellation number, 25% charge of the total reservation will be made on the credit card provided at the time of reservation.


Cancellation for Cottage stays of 5 nights or more:

14-30 days prior to arrival 25% of the total reservation shall apply
8-13 days prior to arrival 50% of the total reservation shall apply
7 days or less prior to arrival 100% of the total reservation shall apply

Cancellation of Cottage stays of 4 nights or less:

Cancellations are accepted 7 days prior to arrival with no fee. If this deadline is not met and the client does not have a record of a cancellation number, a one night charge will be made on the credit card provided at the time of reservation.

Cancellation for stays of 4 or more units:

14-30 days prior to arrival 25% of the total reservation shall apply
8-13 days prior to arrival 50% of the total reservation shall apply
7 days or less prior to arrival 100% of the total reservation shall apply

Cavendish Beach Music Festival Cancelation Policy:

We will be taking a $500 non-refundable deposit upon booking for our cottages and a $250 non-refundable deposit on our rooms upon booking. Then as of June 1, we will be taking another $500 non-refundable deposit for the cottages and another $250 non-refundable deposit for the rooms. The remainder of the balance of your reservation will be due upon checkin. 

Cancellations between June 1 and two weeks prior to the reservation will still be accepted, but no refunds to the deposits will be given. If cancellation occurs later than 2 weeks prior to arrival the guest will be liable for the cost of the entire reservation, unless we are able to rebook the unit, in which case the guest would only incur the deposit charges.

Upon check-in the remainder of the reservation costs will be taken.

There will be no refunds given for any early departures.

If this deadlines is not met, and the client does not have a record of a cancellation number, the reservation will be charged in full.

Pets:

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.

Smoking:

All of our rooms and buildings are non-smoking.

Taxes:

15% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) applies to all reservations.

Reservations:

 To make a reservation at Kindred Spirits you must be at least 18 years of age with a valid credit card.
